When is your Hot Lava scheduled for Delivery?
OK
Is everyone scheduled for delivery before MArch 20th an automatic Hot Lava?
anyone with a manual and a firm date yet?
I've heard from the dealer "maybe the 20th" but I think it will be longer.
Wanted to set up a poll to see if we can puzzle out whether the autos are all first, etc, and when the 5 spd crowd can expect theirs delivered.
Thanks for your participation if you have a Hot Lava preferenced

Mine...boy that sounds good, just to say MINE, is due late Mar or Apr 1-2. The SWAG (silly wild a__ed guess) was given the night at the Koon's Scion in Annapolis, MD, that Sean (Shawn) spotted their VERY FIRST allocation for a 6201 (stick shift) RS-1 (hotlava). He said to me, "That's your car!". The date was Feb 24th and the delivery code on the allocation sheet was dated 99/99/99 , meaning still undetermined. Their guess was they'd have a VIN by March 15th but the VERY FIRST HOTLAVA04 for Annapolis would arrive two weeks later...April Fools Day, the 1st of April. Laid down my $1000.00 for the HOTLAVA04 on January 8th...and it seems like 2 years ago already. Sure would like that VIN and seal-up a finance rate while they're still low...this waiting is like ...forever.
Sorry for rambling...
Retired Navy and working harder than ever...but need that 5 Spd Hotlava04 - loaded and ready to go.
Hal.

with our dealership preferencing the 6211 hot lava early, we were able to get a port date for 3/11. as for our other one's, we got stuck with 6200, one is port due 3/29, and haven't heard when the other one is
I AM SO SICK OF DEALING WITH IGNORANT SCION SALESMEN!!!!!
I just got off the phone with my dealer (my salesman is off today) and spoke with some ya-hoo who doesn't know squat! He tried to give me the run-around and couldn't give me any time frame...said it could be a couple of months!
So I called another dealership near them and they don't know anything either! Aren't these salesmen supposed to know about their cars/products!?
Can anyone in the San Diego area help me!? I'm going crazy! I need some definite info on my Hot Lava RS1 5-speed regarding the time frame I can expect to get my car.

I thought i would be sneaky and put down the ALREADY DELIVERED but 2 others beat me. What really gets me, those of you who have had an order in for RS1 for a couple of weeks, and you are already tired of the wait. Try waiting over 2 months.
My delivery isnt scheduled yet, but im going with the March port date that is floating around. Going off that, i would think that by the 20th i should have mine. We will see....

Same here CB ~ They are not saying much at my Dealership ! They need to know something by now ....... It is killing me !
PS. Did you see the 2 options of the Boyd Coddington Rims on my thread ? I am in the process of having them ordered, they have to make the damn rims to fit the XB / Costing me a small bundle of benji's !

Wooooooooo Hoooooooooo I was just told mine would be here as early as the 9th of march. That is next tuesday! My dealer released it already at the port.
I went down this evening to confirm the loan of the dealers customized xb that they are letting me drive for the weekend- from friday till monday and he informed me then of the good news!!!!!! I am stoked. My rims and tires should arrive tommorrow. I haven't decided on lowering springs yet, although I'm open to suggestions! Good luck to the rest of you who are waiting.

Hey House,
I did see the last thread i thought of the 3 wheels you were deciding on. I like the last one, painted to match. I didnt know that they were Boyds .... man, that is gonna cost you a small pile of cash. They gonna paint them for ya too? I would hope that they could do a powder coat, cause those wheels are gonna get hot pretty fast, and possibly cook that paint.
Seeing as how GA is supposed to get theirs on the 9th, and NC on the about the same time, i can only hope that the boat still has the first arrivals for the Jersey port too. I hope its just enough to get all those here in the North East their rides by mid March.
<== keeping fingers crossed

Here at my dealership we have a port date of 3/11 so we are expecting it about a week after that, ours is an automatic transmission and we currently have three people trying to be the ones to get it though no one has come through with the deposit on it yet, so we shall see how it goes, im a tad bit upset we didnt get a manual but im sure we will have no problem getting ours out on the road.
they said the single delivery to GA was down to 2 dealers. i guess i got to it first! i WISH it was here the 9th. the dealer got their allocation (i think thats what it is called) today and its coming with their next shipment of cars! I CANT WAIT!!! AHHHHHHHHHH!!!
I spoke to the Dealer yesterday, they show one coming in next week and it is the STICK, this was ordered by anouther gentleman. The Dealer stated that mine will arrive next ? It is an AUTO / so I would assume that it would be around the 20th.
CB ~ Your correct, it is a small fortune to have them made. The job is to small for them to powder coat them, their main focus is their street rods and getting them painted / the rim business is just a small off shoot ! I am looking atleast 4-5 weeks before they are shipped ! They should look okay I think :?:
It seems like forever and ever - Never had to wait for delivery of a car before - always seen something on the lot and buyed it ! I am really looking forward to this vehicle, making some modifications and using as a weekend cruiser. I also look forward to meeting everyone at a meet or something, will be fun !
