Figure 96,000 from mid april 05 with about 6-7 weeks of parked time for illness and accident repair. So a bit less than 2 years of actual use. I'm currently driving my Reatta for a change of pace (plus the a/c still isn't repaired in the xB

MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY! if this was a high compression, high HP luxury car, then i would be considering premium. but not for a f*ckin' economy car!@#

stealth, nice comment.

this dude probably owns a gas station and wants us scion drivers to help him with his bentley payments! >_<

The xB/xA engine has been in toyota echo's since around 2000 i believe. if you look on ebay or on craigslist, you will find toyota echos with north of 150k miles on them and still running in perfect condition. knowing that the xB drivetrain (for the most part) came from the echo made it more of a reason to buy. you have proof in the echo's that the engine is a solid hi-mile performer - now it's just in a fun box-like package ;]

i bought my xb out-right, with cash, and just use it on the weekends, sometimes for roadtrips. assuming everything goes fine, i am going to keep this thing until the engine explodes or i die. hahahaha.... i have no reason to sell it, trade it, etc so it's gona be mine. hell, maybe my kids will play with it once they're older... that is - when i have kids... lol imma keep this thing for 300k miles or more

^^^ word. i have told everyone that i'm keeping this box forever. never going to get rid of it. how can you? it's a collector's item now and is so awesome.
but i'm trying to minimize mileage as much as possible to keep that dream a reality.

my 2005 xB has 102,000 miles on it, other than oil changes, a belt change, a head light switch, its all been good.

My 2004 xB only has 28,000 miles, its still young.

This summer were gonna be making the 10,000 mile trip on it instead of our 2005.

actually ..as cynical as this sounds..i'm patiently waiting to hit 150-160k in the next year or two...and then move on to a FIT...i'll probably never get rid of the Xb as its just an amazingly practical car and its better then the fit in certain aspects..but all in all..I'm willing to give the Fit a try..

Wow... I don't think I've driven like 30k miles TOTAL in my entire life - and I'm being serious! I can not imagine driving that much in a couple of years... ;-X
