Okay, xB'ers, I will be 56 on my next birthday, in July. I've had the black cherry xB for over a year now. Just took off a set of 17" BSA's to go back to the stock size - for fuel economy. Looking for a new set of 15" wheels. Konig Trouble or Konig Theory look nice, but mmmm those Voxx MG's look good too. Any suggestions.

I'll try to get Ray to a meeting some other monday (not next monday, however) at which time you'll meet, me too. Thanks for the invite to Miami Strike night!

I will be turning 61 and just bought my second xB. The first one got totaled by a hit and run driver running a red light-just as I got into the intersection. see photo below. New xB is now silver so I am a little more visible.

Six grandkids, the oldest is 20 and the youngest is 3. I saw a few posters earlier in this thread who posted 5 yrs ago, and would be older than my 65 now.

My wife, friends, and grandkids all love to ride in my Envy Green RS 3.0. Whenever I give them a choice between the xB or my SE-R, they all always choose the xB.

How did you manage to get 45 mpg? The best I ever got was 30 mpg in my RS1 w/ auto tranny on a round trip to Orlando and back to Boca.

I got 42.8 mpg on 24-Jun-06 in my 2006 manual transmission xB:
http://aatherton06.home.insightbb.co..._xB/xB_MPG.htm

It was done by holding the speed to 62 mph, with some variation to 60 and 65, over 250 miles of Interstate driving without a stop.

It would have been easy to get 45 mpg by dropping the speed to 55 mph.

I installed a TRD muffler last summer and have been driving "by the pipe" ever since. More fun but hard on the mileage. Age 67.

45, and not a grandparent yet, and probably won't be for a long time! my only child is turning 8 in 2 months. i am starting to feel older though, because a couple friends, and people i work with around my age are starting to become grandparents. one guy is 44 a whole year younger than me, and his oldest grandson is 10! i'm not asking about that one! he, and his child must have both started out real young.

i felt like i would be an old guy driving this, but i guess i really don't.

My oldest grandkids are 21 and 19, so there's a reasonable possibility I could be a great-grandpa in a few years.

you're 111 pops! i don't doubt you might be a great great great grandpa in a few years! haha just playing.

seriously though i didn't have you pegged as being in your 60s! you're like old enough to be my dad! you're not though cause he would have just turned 78 this year if he was still alive. i pictured you being a young guy like in their early 30s tops! that's not saying you're immature that's actually a very good thing. here i was all along though thinking these little boxes were for kids straight out of high school, and college! it's funny that most of the people i see driving xb's though are usually in their 50s or older! same with the xa. now the tc is a different story. oldest person i know of or have even seen driving one is a guy i used to ride motocross with wife. just rode a trail with him last week at his neighbors who is a good friend of mine. he actually lives in the house i owned before this which was the very first house i owned. his wife is 38 i think, and she's got an 06 tc. she's a teacher too. haven't seen a lot of people older than that behind the wheel of a tc. they love it though, and they're excited, because it's paid off next month!

Well, my other cars have included 2nd & 3rd generation Sentra SE-Rs, which give tCs a run for their money. Plus I had a 1st generation Eagle Talon turbo AWD that ran with WRXes. The Talon Tsi cleaned the clocks of both tCs and SE-Rs.
