The under brace ties the whole front suspension together to the frame...tends to make things more solid....and if the bar is good enough quality can aid in better handling

the lower arm bars are like a strut tower bars. they stiffen up the frame/chassis(non moving parts).
strut bars do it on the top side, lower bars do it on the underside.

the sway bars are for the moving parts of the suspension. they help the car in corners by reducing body roll.

thats a basic description, hope it helps...

PM bbist he has both JIC lower braces in stock. i got both braces on mine and it made a big difference. one bar is a 4 point frame brace and the other one is a 2 point brace. it will take you about a hour to install both of them at the same time. just remember not to shift anything when doing the 4 point brace cause it's a pain to get the 2 longer bolts back in if you do. if you got access to a lift you should be able to do both in 30 min.

the 2 point brace is located in the front also. it acts as a crossmember brace and bolts from the edge of the arm assembly to the other. i'll try to post some pics if i can find my battery charger for my digicam.

It's there under suspension...no price is listed, maybe contact Beskone and see if he has any details. Pretty interesting, I waould love to hear from someone that has these installed...

There was another thread that I thought mentioned that even just the sway bars could increase oversteer..I don't think I have experienced it myself tho. I think it actually all comes down to becoming more comfortable with your vehicle and how to handle it.

The underchassis brace does work. I've tried a few for the xB that are on the market.

It is true that the swaybars and the underchassis braces will give you slightly more understeer, but the amount of handling improvement will be more than the understeering which will occur. Good product if you like your vehicle to handle the corners!

I do have the JIC in stock right now. PM me if you are interested.

I have a question, If you already have the Hothckis Sway Bars Installed, would you still be able to mount either the Cusco or JIC Lower Arm Bars?

Old thread but do the JIC I and the Greddy Front lower arm bar attach to the same place?
Are they the same type of thing?
These are the 2 point braces that I am referring to.

Thats what I hope to find. I have seen a thread that has a pic of the Greddy, at least I think it is a front greddy lower arm bar. I may find it.

The JIC hangs low.

Both mount crossmember.

I thought this was the greddy due to the color but it is not. I have id'd the greddy 2 point one and it is not what I need. I have an H brace.

What is the blue 2 point front bar in this thread in front of the H brace?
