Hey xA owners, I know something like this has been posted before, but there was no specific answer. . . I'm considering getting a 2005 xA, and I NEED my bass. I will be trasferring my 12 inch sub, in a standard enclosure to the xA. Do you guys think it will fit? Will it fit with the cargo cover? It seems like there's less than 10" of clearance back there. . . maybe if I use a truck box? What do you guys think?

I think I'm sold. It's either this or the Mazda3 5 door. I think I'm going to DIY my own rear cargo mat/tray(that hard plastic panel is removeable) and utilize the extra room in spare tire well. It'll be an identical piece, with a hole in the center for the sub box.
Sorry to stray from my own thread too, but I test drove a 5spd today. Since the dealer was riding with me, I didn't feel very comfortable going full throttle. I drive a 1990 LS400, which has great handling and a pretty powerful engine (0-60 in 8.0 and 250hp). I read that the Scion gets 0-60 in 8.8 which is liveable, and most of you guys said that it handles very well. Because of the high seating position, I didn't feel comfortable turning hard. . . how stable is this car? I know it's not going to match my former car(too expensive to maintain and gas too
), but does this thing have decent pull? Do you think it will outperform a Corolla?
