Default Will the newer radios fit an 05 xB?

I have two questions:

First do the newer radios come with a mini jack (for an MP3 player)on the front of radio (if so it might be in the lower right hand corner)? I am not talking about the ipod connector down by the shifter but the radio itself.

Second would one of these newer style radios fit in an 05 xb? Is there any issue with the fact that I don't have steering wheel controls?

I'd like to be able to connect my mp3 player, don't want to play through a radio signal and want to keep everything orignal scion. I thought the easiest way would be to get one of the newer radios if it will work. Thanks

no.

yes... no.

you'll have to get the aux wiring.. the harness.. and the plug itself. the plug goes where your cupholder area is... not where the radio is.

uhm... you mean, no, yes, no?

there's no mini jack for the radio in front of the radio.. it's down in the cupholder area.. which you would need to wire in and install.

yes.. of course it'll fit..

and then.. there's no issue not having controls... besides the fact you don't have any.

In addition to the first question.. are ALL Scion year/model radios swappable with any others?? I want to keep my HU stock-looking, but would rather have a volume **** vs the stupid buttons.

I am looking to put the 06 tC one in my 04 xB.
