It would seem nonsensical for Toyota/Scion to discontinue the most noticible and best selling Scion after just one year release to the entire US...

I may be prejudiced (OK, I am, I am, I admit it) but the xB is the "flagship" of the Scion fleet - THE one that gets attention and turns heads. Bot of the others are fine machines, but the xB is what gets most folks to pay attention enough to even see the others.

I expect it to last at least through 2006...

Thanks for the info.. The changing of the box or a new car might be a possibility i would say.. Why wont they release more info on further cars and all if there wasnt going to be a big change in the line?

Just hope the new models they come out with come with a paint touch up kit.
I’ve never owned a car that the paint chipped off so easily
If they wanna sell more cars they better lay a thicker coat of paint or clear coat
At just over 2K miles and paint chips everywhere. Makes me wanna cry

Tomas...I agree...

Also...Someone already posted on another thread that there will be an 06 xB...they also posted all the details regarding the differences from the 04/05s....they were subtle...

I heard that they will discontinue Camo Green, the Solar Yellow, is an '05 model only colour, just like the Hot Lava was an '04 only model colour. They r supposed to dscintinue the xB after 2007 model year ends. I believe that they might bring out another new colour, but that is supposed to be it for the Release Series, only regular models now. PEACE

yeah, it wouldn't make sense to make more yellows after Rs2 or a bunch of us would be ____ed.

who predicts the next RS color? I think it'll be a wild blue or a real red.

me? I got a yellow one yesterday.

safety first. damn that color is so decent, that even my yellow-hating mate thinks it's damn cute, and so I won't have to get a divorce after all.

hope they kill the xB soon because I like having a rare car.

I would be surprised if Scion discontinues the xB for 2007 assuming sales are still strong. That'd only be a two-year run for the xB - a pretty short run for the car.

I'm strictly talking model years. The entire country to 2005 models. There was no 2003 model in the US.

There will be color changes to the '06. They are getting rid of Camo and I believe black cherry. In its place will be a charcoal gray color (can't remember the name of it but it is not flint mica) and salsa red will replace black cherry. I am pretty sure that this is the correct information.
