Did 35% on the fronts and they were only slightly lighter which is a good thing for at night. Plus 20% on the fronts are illegal in most states. I like 35% and no one can tell the difference!

Bah, having the fronts done AT ALL in Illinois is illegal.
It kills me because I have very light sensitive eyes, and
I lose sunglasses too easily....I'd love even 95%, but
I can't do that without getting a ticket.

In California, it's illegal too, but if you can get a prescription from your doctor, the law (in Cali) is waived - you just have to carry your prescription with your registration. Do you know if you can get a prescription from your optometrist?

Do you know for a fact if that is true? I looked into that just recently and all the research I've did said that wasn't the case. I also have VERY light sensitive eyes so that would make my life much easier. If you could point me in the direction of some information on the law regarding this I would appreciate it.

99% percent of the time I roll with the windows down. Unless it's raining, my windows are down

What's your plate number? I want to stay far away from you after 5PM.

actually tint on the front doors IS legal in CA - without a prescription. The OLD law did not allow that, that changed on Jan 1, 1999. You are now allowed to have a total net darkness of 88% - which is enough to allow for a relatively clear UV blocking film - good enough to help prevent UV damage (skin cancer, interior fading etc...)
