No problems with that here. I have had mine for a year now with no problems. My only idea of what could be causing your problem is a bad seal or maybe the adhesive is bad. If it keeps up though, I would definitly get it checked out just to be safe.

THis might be a dumb idea, but have you tried putting pressure on the window from the inside like pushing on it kind of hard. If it moves or at the worst, falls out, then you definatly know its bad adhesive.

Take it to the dealer and have them look at it under warranty

Here's another guess: Is any of the interior plastic trim pressing against the windshield and possibly creaking when there is relative motion betwen the plastic and the glass?

(No problems here on my xB with creaking windshields, but I just tracked an annoying intermittant buzzy noise to the passenger side dash-top speaker grill. Quickly fixed.)

I think there was a technical bulletin about the exterior trim piece at the bottom of the windshield. I do believe to fix it they put felt on the claws underneath.

I have this same problem at the same times you seem to be experiencing the problem..... bumps/dips and when you hit the gas from a complete stop. I have yet to take it in to the dealer. But someone mentioned the felt on the claws that I believe is covered here.
