Default Windshield deflectors

This is my second windshield on my Xb. Previous windshield damaged by flying object (might be a bolt). The impact was really hard because the Xb windshield lacks angle and somewhat flat. I'm looking for a windshield protector similar to those intalled on Japanese highway patrol high speed pursuit vehicles. It's mounted on top of the hood half way between the front (where bug deflectors are usually installed) and the base of the windshield. Please click on the link to see picture. http://www.policeworldwide.com/pictu...mmeyjajwp9.jpg

I would really appreciate any information on how I can purchase one.

BTW. I installed a Yakima roof rack and it looks very agreeable with my Xb. However, without the fairing it will howl like a hurricane beginning around 35 mph. The fairing also looked cute with the Xb and it illiminate the wind noise.

Cheers, Bonitz[/url]

Don't know where you would get something like that in the states with out it being custom fab'd. On another note that is a nice police vehicle. What type of car is that?

Default Evolution

If I'm not mistaken, Japanese highway patrol uses the Evolution. I think it's by Mitsubishi.

That is a fugly deflector. I think I'd take my chances with the windshield getting broke before I drilled mounting holes in my hood.
