winter protection
i know this might seem like a stupid question, but how do you keep your car clean during the winter?
i am moving to vermont in the fall and was wondering what everyone up north does to keep salt from building up on their vehicle.
and do i have to worry about having lowpro tires when driving on the snow?
thanx

Simple, you don't keep your car clean in the winter. It gets crusted with salt and stays that way until the car wash opens back up.
You do not, i repeat, do not want to be rolling on low profile tires in the snow. There's a reason for all-weather tires.

You wash it in a carwash they use warm water in the winter.
about the low profiles yes you need to worry about them the salt will eat them up and they will not have any traction in the snow and yes VT gets all kinds of snow.
where in VT are you going and i will tell you how the roads and such are
