Was wondering what everone else is doing.

1) This weekend get Snows for the front
2) Assume coolant is winter ready, Ill check any way, (Pick up mickey Coolant checker)
3) Add protection to front of car, minimized road salt and gravel dings. I was told Bra's tend to leave wear spots on paint? Do a heavy wax Job?. I was thinking does anyone one know of Colored vinyl that you can apply temp for winter to large areas up front. Even plain old black would work and look ok if applied nicely.
4) Rain X windows inclueding Mirrors
5) Pick up spare or better driver side wiper blade / Washer Fluid
6) Make sure my winter tools are in car, Scrapper, Extending snow Brush(Love This).
7) Probably should look in Tech section and get head light overlays (Plastic)
"Stranded Clothing" in case of emergence and have to be out and about, I always keep spare gloves, hat, and weather proof jacket. (Just love being out and about in the Snow.


Cant think of anything else, Im sure some one will open my eyes

My Toyoa Tacoma 4X4 in shop, be ready in 2 weeks Ill try and keep my Box off the road as much as I can in bad weather.

 

You should really have snow tires on all four wheels. Doing only two can be more dangerous than not having them at all. As for the rest of the items on your list, the coolant is fine, you don't need any additional protection because the paint will chip no matter what, Rain X is unnecessary, replacing wiper blades with winter versions is a great idea, tools are absolutely necessary, and you don't need any headlight overlays. Your box will do fine, so don't worry about driving it. Enjoy!
