Yea, can you be more specific? Do you have a relay harness? Can you take pictures of the wiring?

You're being too vague for us to be helpful.

Are you sure Toyota did something wrong, could it be you were looking at the wrong year wire diagram?

You don't say what year your box is , there were changes made , Kaizan is the way they are made, always changing to make things better.

My guess is unless you got the HID kit from Toyota , the manufacturer of the kit got it wrong.

I have an 04 and the HID kit was correct, when i would connect the black to black and red to red the lights would not work. so at first i thought its was the HID kit but after connecting it directly to the battery they worked. so then i checked with a muti meater on the car's wires and the multi meater showed me a -12.

If you look in the tech section you can download the wiring diagrams.

According to the Toyota manual they use a blk and a yellow/blk wire for the head lights , no red.

So can you show us a picture of the rd and blk wires on the headlights ?
Or are the wires on your hid kit?

This amused me. Which is right? Toyota or the $100 HID kit? Hmmm.
