Default Woodie XB ?

Anyone seen or have pics of a woodie style XB with real wood ? If so I'd love to see one.

That photo seems to come up a lot. I like what they did
with it, but it's not my style.

Takes some ballz to do that to a new car!

the road to hell is paved with... well efforts like that.
ballz yes, but take the "wood" off and drop it, and you'd have a pretty sweet ride.

I love it. That is real old school, with the wood, white walls and moon caps.

I respect that most xB mods will include bigger wheels and drops, but its nice to see an old school xB.

That is what modding is about. Make the vehicle your own.

Thanks for finding that pic. It's cool although a little rough in aesthetics. But I do give him credit for giving at a ballsy shot ! With some tweaking I think most anybody on this forum would like it. I've wanted to do my Lava up like a woodie, the color would be spot on with the warm look of wood. While I've got your ears does anyone know where you can get a real smoothie wheel for the XB. I would like to do baby moons with trim rings on a painted wheel. Nice and smooth no holes etc, 15 " - 17".

wow, why all the hatin'? That woody effort should give us all encouragement to think outside the ghetto-lowrider-pimp ride mindset and be creative.

Gee, haven't we seen more than our share of lowered xBs? Sheesh... it's already become a cliche.

I just love how the xB can be customized to be an ultra-futuristic ride... or a retro classic.

Bring on the creativity!

Props to you ! I hear ya loud and clear. Too much bias towards everyones rides. At the really ripe age of 45 I've been invloved in more hobbies than I can remember, mostly due to my poor age related memory. Racing Sailboats, kind of funny sounding, racing karts on a national level, racing motocross as a teen, and believe it or not racing BMX on a succesfull national level in my 40's until my back exploded ! All these things were done with friends of all ages, especially the BMX. What I know is that we can learn from anyone any age at any time. We are all here for the love of cars etc. What sounds or looks lame to one guy appeals to many others. Hey I've been around a lot of high horsepower rides in my life and I couldn't come to grips with tuner craze. I mean what the heck makes sence with trying to squeeze H.P. out of a little gas stingy import car when a blown 40 ****** pulls up to you ? It's because it's fun, i nteresting and a learning experience. I bought my XB cause I really like the looks of them and the milage. I was going to leave it alone but my 12 year old son has shown a real interest in it. So now it's tome for the S-Tech springs and Magnaflow exhaust, thanks Gabe ! I'm just showing how I've been guilty of the same thing. To each his own, and if you take a closer look you might see something you like. With that said I wonder what a cold air intake will do to the little buzzer sitting in my garage. Tweak it till it hurts........

I came in here to post "This is why former PT Cruiser owners should be disqualified from buying xB's." But, that Woody posted up there looks MUCH better than any I've seen so far. It's not half bad.

Having said that, Dass, if you stick any wood like stickers on your ride I will have to confiscate it in the name of Lava owners nation wide.
