I want another scion even after my wreck bc the interior was very safe... but i wasn't sure if i should get another xA or get an xB which is what i really wanted... hmm... help me decide... what are the advantages of having an xB???

xB all the way!!! I just simply like how they look better. The xA looks like the offspring from a Matrix and a Mini Cooper having car-sex. No offense. The xB is soooo sweet!

xB baby. the xA really doesn't look good until it has a good amount of drop and nice wheels and general body styling tweaks.

 

How did you manage to do that? What kind of wreck was it???

we'll id prob go with the xB.. also.. xB was pretty much what you wanted before but maybe hesitated coz of its boxy look but later on realized boxes are COOL too... so go with the xB.. you'd feel better.

i of course have nothing against xA.. i'm just a fan of the box..

 

Ok... so... there was a guy in front of me (old cadillac), and a guy behind me (big red chevy truck)... well, there was something in the road and the guy in front of me slammed on his brakes, then i slammed on my brakes, and so did the guy behind me (we were also all going around 65mph also)... but the guy behind me rear-ended me and pushed me up underneath the car in front of me...
and thats just about how it went... hope u understand what i just wrote...

but to make it simple... i was the creme filling in an oreo

But regarding your question, it really depends on you. Personally i think you should give the xB a try. After all you have already experienced the egg so buy not give the box a spin. It's a little more hip and out of the "box"...haha get it , ok so bad pun. Yea i vote for the xB, but again it's your choice do what you feel is best.

Btw, do you have to cover the losses from your accident, or how did it work? I was always curious about those kinds of accidents.

 

I like 'em both. I didn't get an xA because I already have a car I have to squat to get into. The xB has a great ride height, letting you see right through most minivans and pickups if they're not tinted. The short porch on the xB takes some getting used to, but for room and style, I think it wins out. I'd at least take both of them on a long test drive.

Still, I will say this... I do not like the tC at all, and I like the modded xB's alot, but I have seen some SICK xA's out there. You can do alot to an xA to make it look so so so good, much different from the egg you took home. Reminded me of Tron.

 

Since you are on the xB forum you will no doubt hear xB as the choice. If you are concerned about another wreck--the xA can come with side air bags but the xB can not. Good Luck--and be careful out there!!

 

The insurance payed most of it... but we also had gap insurance and it covered over $3,000 that the insurance didn't...

 

~ well if you like the xb, i read they are coming out with the tc engine for it. look into that to see if it's true and when, i read it in a magazine column this week. same power as the tc.

 

Xb all the way. Has waaay more styling/mod options. IMO the Xa is a bit of a girly car unless you get serious body work, dropped, tint, wheels, then it looks sweet. Plus, if you want to up the juice the Xb has more performance options also. No offense Xa peeps.
