Default xA, xB, tC: Technical Service Bulletins

Hey Team,

When Googling the internet for "TSB" Technical Service Bulletins I found a great
"secrete" cached goggle page of TSB's that apparently, Toyota (or someone)
doesn't want us linking directly to their existing web site.

So... here's the how-to:

1. Go to: http://www.google.com
2. Type in the following (with quotes) "scion TSB"
3. Only 1 link will appear
4. Click on the "Cached" link
5. A goggled web-page will appear with all the TSB's listed for each vehicle type: xA, xB, tC.
6. Right-Click on the TSB you want and click "save"
7. A PDF file will be saved to your computer.
8. Use "Adobe Acrobat Reader" to open the document.

For reference, here are the TSB's for the Scions...

That is CorollasBest's collection. I'm not sure of the legality of hosting them here, but I think our admin declined on hosting them here... Also, CorollasBest pays for the bandwidth for those documents. Please don't horde all of them unless you're going to host them yourself.

Ah, the A/C bulletins are particularly good to know. Now we don't have to settle for the dealers shrugging and saying that's just the way it is. Looks like they can add extra cooling hardware UNDER WARRANTY. :D

My dealer will getting a visit from me this spring.

I figured if it was on the internet it was public information.
Just trying to help the group.

What I don't understand why TSB's have to be so dang secrete.
Isn't it supposed to be public information?
What bothers me most is that all my local Toyota/Scion dealers
have never heard of these TSB's?!
They always ask for a copy of mine!

Talk about a communications problem...

what's he gonna do? show up at your door when you're heading out for work in the morning?

if it becomes a problem, he can just as easily kill the page, or place it in a 'preferred' members area like the microfiche and repair manuals are on here.

Thats because they don't want possible buyers to know the flaws of the car. They also dont want the dealers to know about it so when freinds ask them they wont know. Its all to be closed to the consumer.

Really? Even with Toyota?!
I though they were a reputable car company.

Nice.... I'm glad I saved all the xB PDFs to my computer.

Which one do you need? What is the dealer giving you the runaround on?
