I have one of those rear views, it was on my golf cart. You used to be able to get them at the crappy auto parts stores, you know the ones you don't want to shop at. All it's just a bunch of small mirors all lined up. The angle that photo was taken at is about the only angle that the miror looks good from IMHO.

Absolutely no blind spots with that mile-wide rearview mirror, huh??? You could see 86 B.C. with that thing!!

At 33 I really feel old after reading some of your comments on that mirror.

You used to see those mirriors all the time in CAL LOOK bugs. Let me make it clear however, I never put one of those in my cal looker. Anyway, it was a little fad I guess...all they did was vibrate really good that was about it!

they were also very very popular in muscle cars and such. a great 70's and 80's add on to many a car. kind of like the window vents.

Don't forget mini-trucks! They probably work the best for a short pickup cab because you got the full field of view. And the vibration issue is no joke... Working on another mount point on my brackets. You can probably get a better view with a panoramic mirror, but my side view mirrors are panoramic so I needed something that was normal view and I wanted to give props to some old skool mods that I grew up liking...

No WAY.....

Ok, now I really want my XB to come in!!!!! The one thing I was mourning by going to a smaller car (from my minivan) was that I'd never be able to camp in it. So let me get this straight....

You can fold BOTH the front seats BACK??? If you take off the headrests??? And the front seat with match up with the backseat to form the bed?

FYI, you can get "tent" covers for the back for minivans and trucks... so I bet they have them that would fit the xb.

They are called "WINK" mirrors. They work great but interfere with the sunvisors sometimes.
