I'm in Maryland and when the '06 xB's are out I'm getting one the first day. I was looking into tinting and was told that the darkness of the back windows depends on how the car is classified by the dealer or is listed on the title. How is the xB classified? Maybe it's different state to state but I would assume the xB has a certain classification. I doubt that it's sedan but is it truck? I know the tinting laws are different(ie, Florida can be really dark) depending ont he state. Thanks!

Hrm. Guess I'll have to see how Maryland classifies it and then figure out what tint I can do based on that. Interesting to see the differences - wagon and UUV.

 

in hawaii, it's a 4 door car/sedan! so we have to comply to the stupid 35% car tint laws!!!

Most "official" opinions seem to be that it's a compact station wagon sort of beast...

Personally I classify it as an Urban Utility Vehicle (UUV)...
