Default xB Headlight Replacement

After 10 years, the headlamps were badly sunburned and needed replacing. This is how we did it; Thought this video might help if you are considering this step and are worried about doing it. You may even be able to do it without ramps, they just made it easier to access all the screws.

Kits are sold to resurface the plastic, but I have found they don't work that well or the effect doesn't last long. So replacement it is.
Parts obtained from rockauto.com

I seem to remember a time when replacing a headlight used to be easy, but then again, headlights were made from glass and didn't get sunburned like the shapely new plastic ones do.

Recently had to take the bumper off a '14 corolla (and before that a '14 Fiesta) to remove a headlight and the process is remarkably similar. They just use more plastic rivets in the newer cars.
