Default XB insurance

I know I've been posting a million questions lately...but I'm on my last leg of deciding what I'm going to buy.

WIth a loan on a car, the bank needs the car to be "fully covered", what exactly does this include? I currently have liability insurance, the lowest insurance required by law. WHen I go thru sites to get quotes, they want me to specify what i need covered, and they give me a million choices. I really don't know what needs to be included to satisfy the banks needs, anyone know? Also wondering what ya'll are paying monthly for insurance...

thanks

It could vary depending on the bank but for my xB, my bank required liability and collision with minimum $500 deductable.

I would not be comfortable with only liability coverage for my xB anyways.
I am paying around $690 for 6 month with prior accident record. I paid $540 for liability only for my 94 Civic so xB was certainly a good deal!!

You will need comprehensive insurance for starters, and maybe more depending on where you live. Call up an agent, they will know the requirements in your state.

ya, NJ is not the place to go for good car insurance rates. its not to bad, my policy is loaded cause i dont want to have to worry about driving my car. one reason i went with the xb is because my sencond choice ,the new GTI, would have destroyed me for yearly insurance.

you are gonna need collision, comprehensive, uninsured motorist, and liability, also known as Full Coverage. If you are under 21 try a company called cotton states ins. if they are in your area. When I was in high school and living with my parents we used them and got good rates for my brother and me and we had fairly new vehicles. If not try progressive , or allstate. and try to call a local agent, the internet doesn't always offer discounts that could be available to you.

Anyone in Cali need insurance on their xb? I'm an insurance agent.

If any one would like a quote, send me a message. I am a broker in Southern California and am able to shop with many companies in order to get the best price.

=)

In Canada they usually require:
Minimum $1, 000, 000 Liability
All Perils $1, 000 Maximum Deductible
All Perils = Comprehensive and Collision
