when i fill up i dont top it off, so it only clicks once and i get to about 260-280 until the light comes on, and thats mostly city driving with an I/H/E setup and a lightened crank pulley.

i get pretty heavy on the pedal sometimes though especially since the pulley and the exhaust went on

Yep--my light comes on right about at 300 miles. I always get gas then within 30 miles. Some stop and go some 80mph depending on the mood of the LA freeways.........

i get about 300 to the tank, sometimes 400 if i drive "conservatively". But i like to gun it and do jackrabbit starts and love to pass the big cars on the highway. I wish my xb could give the finger to the big trucks that drive to close to me. Haha.

Cut a hand out of plastic with an uprighted center finger and attach it to your rear wiper. When the truck comes too close, let the "flying hand" on the wiper do the job for you simply by turning the wiper on. I actually saw it on another car about a dozen or so years ago. Just be careful the 18 wheeler driver doesn't respond by sucking your car into his air intake.

I'll hit 300 on highway to the light coming on. That still leaves about 50 or 60 miles available to fill up. City driving will probably be around 280 till the light comes on.

I get anywhere from 275-300 miles to the tank, nothing more than 34 mpg yet, and nothing less than 27.

I personally like to drive fast, so I rev high and shift quick, I dont like mini-vans (or any car for that matter) accelerating faster than I am... I was the same way in my '93 volvo.

my gas light usually comes on around 310-330miles on a tank. i sometimes go until 350-370 before filling up. and i do get nervous when pushing it.

i don't drive a tad conservatively on surface streets; on freeways i go around 70, once in awhile up to 80.

my tires are almost maxed out a 44psi and i fill up with chevron 87

When I'm just driving normally, somehow my lights goes on about 3 out of 5 times right at 331 miles (weird, but true!), which gives me around 360-375 miles total before filling up.

My best, on the other hand, was 486. :D

Sounds like one of the places you filled up didn't give you an honest accounting of how much you pumped. That usually is the reason for inconsistent mileage beween 2 fillups.

That is how I drive to Biloxi, Ms from Panama City Fl and always get 35-37 mpg. I have hit 100 mph playing around without really knowing it (that's my story), until the wife says ummmm.

I can fill up in PC and arrive at the IP or Beau Rivage with a quarter tank...including stops on the way at various towns!

Scions are SOO COOL!

Around my home town, being...ZIPPY...I can get 37-41 easily. But my '06.5 bop box is pretty much stock at this point.

(Researching new 17" rims and 2" drop...which I do not know if it will affect my killer gas milage much.?)
