If he had taken more safety classes, he wouldn't have been in the middle of the lane, would have been scanning his mirrors once stopped, an would have left himself an exit. He could have been more prepared, but ultimately it's not his fault anyway.

Yeah, as an extremely cautious rider, I knit-pick that kind of stuff. . . but as a rider, I know that stuff happens. At least he was wearing ALMOST all the gear. . . everything except proper riding pants, but I guess none of that really helped, lol.

Really not sure why he didn't go right. The SUV in front of him stopped in the middle of the street, no light, no sign, nothing. The tan sedan in the left lane kept going straight. Gotta wonder if it was staged for whatever reason. He just "happened" to have a helmet cam, and be recording what looked like an average city ride, didn't go to the right lane when the SUV stopped, and almost anticipated being hit to be able to jump up and clear the bike. Old lady in the xB though does make it convincing, makes me think it could be legit. I'd be ____ed at the SUV driver for stopping short.

Common stuff that seasoned and trained riders know to look out for. Now I can't call the rider a squid, but training would have saved his bike. The video looks
Legit to me...
But even if this was a car-car accident, all fault is with the scion, period. But as a responsible rider, it's of best interest to be more prepared for
The inevitable
