Nice car Fred! Looks better in the sun light.
Thanks for clarifying the rim sizes. I figured they had to be 8.5s since 9.5s would need some serious flares up front.
Finally, a roll cage at the proper mounting points.
Not like the red one in the TCM that was at SEMA before.

Great concept for a show car, with the body kit, two-tone paint, and "rally car" interior. But, it does scream "I'm having an identity crisis", lol! Is it a show car? Is it a rally car? Hey, roses are red, violets are blue, I'm schizophrenic, and so am I...

uhhh no show car can have roll cages too..doesnt mean its rally....race cars utilize racing seats and roll cages. the xB fred built wasnt meant to be that but "inspired". its a sick cage done by one of the best in the business. "22's and hittin switches" isnt the only thing happening at shows if you open your eyes up. everyone builds a car differently w/ different tastes and style. if you believe your way is better build a car and show fred how to build a xB. get your car out there and prove your point.

What's with the VIP outside and the rally inside? The car really does have an identity crisis. It should be painted black, white, or silver with silver or black wheels and a ridiculous leather/velvet/wood/aluminum/whatever interior.
Right now it's about 60% there.

it was brought in a trailer cause its a demo car for scion corp and needs to stay in pristine condition for the tour its going on in 06...u got any better ideas joey?
its not truly vip outside...the kit maybe vip but the rest of the build style isnt.

I'd have to agree w/ the identity crisis observations. It seems that ususally happens with show cars - they have to please a lot of different people/sponsors.
Nice job on the flares, though I'd like to see 9.5 and 10.5 with a little camber to fill up those flares

That guy in the picture couldn't even put his toes under that front lip. I like the two tone and the way they used a unusual line for it. The blue looks a bit like speedway blue on the tacoma. Don't like the rally look inside and the backwards stickers are dumb but having been to sema stickers are a must I guess. Like the wheels!

I'm sure there was a lot of work put into it, and I'm sure the craftsmanship is great. I just don't understand the roll cage thing. I know it's a show car and all, but really. Roll cages are for racecars, IMHO.
I do like the xB emblem on the back.

wow... people here can get really ignorant w/ their comments.
the interior was done for a design aspect, not to literally go rally racing. And just an FYI this cage is probably as good of a cage as you'll see in any race car w/o dimples to the a-pillar. I wanted the "boxiness" of the outside to reflect the interior, so this is the reason for the solid flat floors. I kept the interior simple, but added a cage for some added creativity. This car wasn't built to be driven around, it was built strictly for SEMA. Hey if i had a choice I'd drive that Scion around daily. But for now, this is my only daily driver, and track car.
