xB Storage in the Winter

xB Storage in the Winter
For those that "store" their xBs in the winter, do you take your wheels off? I have the 18" TRDs on and I was wondering if I should take them off? Will it be bad to leave them on, when here in Chicago, it can get to 40 below zero with the wind chill. Could the low profile tires crack or go flat cause of the frigid temps?
BTW, I'm storing it outside, under an enclosed porch with a car cover on it...

Just so you know, the -40 wind chill applies only to warm-blooded beings. Your car does not feel any colder than it actually is due to the wind chill.
That being said, whats the low go to? Negative 5 or 10?
Other than that, I have nothing to offer.

If you're worried about your wheels, put the stock wheels with some all-season tires on for the winter; they're better for winter driving anyway . . . .

I'd block it up to avoid tire issues if it really wasn't going to be moved for months on end...
Otherwise, your best bet is to drive it occasionally on nice days, don't let the battery go dead or it'll freeze, and always use gas preservative in cars that are being stored...
Even very valuable collector's cars get driven, if only to keep the gaskets wet...
