Yup, she was definitely overdriving her skills. Wet, foggy, prolly bald tires on her Bimmer too.

Lee, I hope your friend is ok.

Good to hear they're OK. It's also good to see that the passenger compartment held up as with almost all the crash pics I've seen.

That BMW was worked. Too bad the "Ultimate Driving Machines" are usually piloted by less than ultimate drivers...

The xB seemed to hold up pretty well from the looks of the crash and the other vehicle. I feel for whoever was driving and hope they are doing well. Seemed to be doing well enough to snap some pics at the scene of the accident.

The front of that Bimmer was Demolished, she(assuming gender) was definitly drving a little too fast for the conditions.

did you see the rocks on the side of the road? her damage may have been from hitting them, not the scion. Looks like the scion's damage was caused from mostly parrallell collisions, the BMW looked perpendicular.

oh ya, its going up right now. i wish everyone took pictures like this when it got crashed.

that sucks the box got trashed, but it saved him which is great. atleast it wasnt due to his error either.

ive noticed most xB accidents are rear endings or people crashing into them. while most tC accidents are driver error. and not many xA accidents.

makes me come with conclusion that for accidents
xA is the best,
xB people will hit your box and wreck it
tC owners think car is a high performance sports car and drive stupid and crash it

Ha, Ha,

or,
- xA drivers are the best drivers because they avoid hitting people and can avoid people trying to hit them. or maybe people try much HARD to avoid hitting the xA because it's so nice looking! ; ) j/k
- xB drivers are the next best because they can avoid hitting people but can't avoid people trying to hit them. or maybe because so people don't like the box sooo much that they are trying MUCH HARDER to hit it! ; ) j/k
- tC drivers are the worst drivers because they hit everything and not only does everything hit them but they can't avoid it either! ; ) j/k
(no flames please, I'm only poking a little friendly fun here)

Btw,
Just to clear things up, I was neither drivng the xB, with them, wrote the email, or even know the guy. Actually a Z buddy of mine who's on the SR20 emailing list (he has an SR20 Silvia) recieved this from somebody else on the list and forwarded it to me thinking I might be interested since I got a Scion. Any questions for the owner are in the first post, in the heading of the email I copied.

Suprised how well the xB held up, especially with how much damage was on the BMW!

Goes to show, you never know when your number might come up and YOUR next! For all we know, our lives might be taken away tomorrow morning through not cause by you. Best to just enjoy today, be happy your healthy, your loved ones are well, be safe, and to DRIVE SAFELY!! Cheers, and happy holidays folks!

Glad everyone involved is okay.....

Has anyone else noticed that the other car was NOT a BMW?

It was a Jaguar. Heavy on the "WAS".
