Default XB trade in value??

I reserved an XB RS 3.0 toady and will be trading my 05 tcm XB in. I was just wondering what people are getting for a trade on them. In my opinion, since they are selling used ones a rediculous prices (alot higher than blue book) the trade should be good too. I know the trade value from NADA is 13,335 and KBB is saying 11,000. What did you get?

My brother recently traded his '05 in and he got 17,100 for it, i think it had around 10k miles on it. we took all mods off except the CF spoiler, lowering springs and some painted interior parts, and we put the factory alloys back on.

I can honestly say that of the 6 or 7 people that have come in here to trade in their xB for another xB or tC they have all been able to do so without being uside down. The resale on these cars are crazy.

Do you think asking for the 13,300 that the NADA says its worth is unreasonable?

It really depends on the mileage and condition, but I would think anywhere around 13K would be more than reasonable.

The car is in mint condition, it has 18,500 miles, but when I looked up the value I used 21,000 miles just to be safe.

What!?!?!?! If he got that trade in value for his xB he must have loaded that thing up with accessories. That's a hell of a trade-in value! I don't think I would put this under the heading "what to expect for trade in".

I recently just sold my xb straight up to a dealership, she was an 2004 xB, Auto, 16K miles, had a small crack in the rear bumper, and window tint...they gave me $11K for her, I wanted $13 but didn't get that because of the $500 to replace the bumper, and remainder to put tint back to legal limit for VA. When you trade in it depends on what your going for; if anything go to a few dealerships and see what they would give you for it....weather it be on a straight up sell, or a trade in on something.....
