Default xB2 SL-ers

I've been doing some trolling around to the other model forums here on SL lately, and I've got to say, the xB2 bunch really seem to be a nice group of people! The posts are civil and mature, the people are friendly and supportive, and there doesn't seem to be any of the juvenile "my ride is cooler than yours because I'm running baller rims" B.S. (like one of the "other" models here...), etc.!
I know a lot of you guys have a less than positive opinion of the new xB's, but I've got to toss out some love for their owners!

it doesn't suprise me though, the xB2 appeals to a mature crowd...that "other" model appeals to either very cute girls or guys that are in highschool...

Well the people are nice, but their vehicles make me want to hit a baby with a duck.

Awe man, I thought I was the only one to notice the fact that 75% of the "other" group are cute girls.

I kind of like the fact it appeals to good looking girls though. And also, it's still faster than the other scion models out w/ more potential. :D

Poor car doesn't deserve a bad rep because the other 24% are immature guys. Theres 1% of hope.

I totally agree with you Daniel. I have never hated the owners, just the car.
The only thing an xB2 owner can do to pi$$ me off is put Box/ Toaster stickers on their car. Or say anything bad about the real xBs.

Yeah, the fact that the "box" nickname stuck among xB2 owners really astounded me. I guess you CAN be nice and delusional all at the same time!

Of course xB2 owners are awesome, they were smart and practical enough to buy a whole lot of vehicle for an insanely low price. It's a great replacement for the the Explorer now that the kids are finally out of college. ;) And the owners are largely mellow, since they're about to retire and they don't need the stress.

The xB2 IS unique in its vehicle class: it's cheaper and safer, and has Toyota reliability and more options. I mean, imagine buying any OTHER crossover SUV / mini-minivan for this price!

^^^
what he said..

there is no other car on the market that would fit the bill for the price.. I personally don't care for the new xB If i had to choose between the new models it would be the xD but I can honestly say if I were in the market for a new car at the moment. I would sadly say I would go with the new Saturn/opel/vauxhall astra its very sharp german quality and im sure you will be able to get a killer rebate on one since its marketed as a saturn.. alas in the new car market I am not.. so I'm holding out for another winner from scion.. you corporate folks hearing this?? I'm to young for a toyota! I want another scion! (if you can make it work)
