Yellow strut bars still available?
I was looking at the 2005 Scion catalog I got at the car show last year and it says there is an optional yellow strut bar for the RS2. Are those still available? Is it worth getting one? Is it DIY or must you have it installed elsewhere? (Again, I'm a beginner
)
Thanks,
Tammie

There might still be some avaliable. When I got mine, same day I picked up my box, the sales manager told me that they were limited in number. As well as the yellow CAI's. The yellow powder coat is 1 or 2 shades off. But it's yellow. There are also some really nice Chrome bars out there. But it's all about what you like. Don't know if it really helps the handling or not, as I never drove it without.

If they don't have it anymore you could still get the regular one and just have it paint matched. Oh and it does serve a purpose other than holding scale models at shows. LOL
i think those are tacky, never liked that whole "color match everything" just looks wierd.
but if you really want one, buy a stocker and get it powdercoated or try to find someone that is selling theirs, but no, they're aren't anymore left

Talk to Ken or Josh at TRD Sparks, I'm willing to bet they may be able to help you out with getting a yellow one.
Everybody has different opinions/facts on the strut bar but I personally love mine and it definatley positively affected the handling of my box. Then I dropped it 2 inches and put a rear sway bar on it and it handles like a go cart (it's no Elise but compared to stock it handles amazingly)
