Personally, I think we ought to get All of the terorists on earth involved in this thread. If they spent all of their time on useless crap like this they wouldn't have time to hurt anyone.

I wave..... but if you don't wave back, I won't follow you home and shoot you either.

Must be a real boring night.

I'll throw up the peace sign if waved at. Call me ___, but I think its cool that WE (tCs, xAs, xBs) all belong to the "Scion Family". (I don't wave at the xA drivin' grannies though.) Also, we don't flash our lights here in Cali for fear of being shot! Crazy-**** gun-totin' fools over here!!

i think we should all get secret decoder rings from the dealer. that way we can also wave at other scion owners even when we're not driving. first rule of scionclub, there is no scionclub.

When someone waves at me, I wave back. When someone honks at me, I honk back. When someone flashes me a peace sign, I flash one back. When chicks flash me their um, tomatoes, I go bananas. (This has happened twice from non-Scion drivers)

I don't think that any of this is '___', 'straight', 'bi', or 'tranny'. I don't become so stupefied that I feel compelled to post a thread to talk about it. (Also, I don't believe that there is anything wrong with being '___').

So what? People are happy to be in their ride and see someone in one too. I am glad that they are happy & gain a sense of community from this minor occurrence. We got enough loud, greedy, fat, ignorant, angry, unhappy, antisocial people in this country.

Xb’s are becoming more popular in my area, but still rare. I think waving just shows support for owning an Xb in an area where more people think it’s a funny looking vehicle and don’t hesitate in tell you their opinion of your car.

Man, what is the big deal? How hard is it to wave, or be nice to someone else?

Far out. Just...far out.

I guess the old VW person in me, thinks it's the thing to do; wave at other's of my 'club', so to speak. Used to nod the head, in my Jeep Wrangler, at others of the same type.

I dunno, I guess the SCION makes me think that we are all in a unique club...that's all.

Me, i only wave to those that have their cars done up. If stock, i dont bother. But most of the time i gots my arm out the window, so if i see one, its not much of a wave, but just sorta lift my hand. Its just like the PT Cruiser thing, wierd looking cars, people seem to relate. no one has ever waved to me when i drove an astro van, so i just think its the new wierd lookin car, and people will think its neat that they see another one. . . i dunno though

I used to wave but I don't any more. I got tired of the people staring back at me like I was some kind of idiot. No one reacted negatively, but it was obvious that these people didn't know what to do. Older people were the worst about this.

If you pay attention you will notice that nearly all motorcycle riders and bus drivers will acknowledge each other (respectively) with a wave or peace sign.

You didn't buy into a cult, just a community of people with similar taste in cars.

i wave and give peace signs . most of the time to no avail but who knows could be the next scion team member or i could introduce them into the world of scionlife. what's really funny is all the xb/s and xa/s who swear theyre the "$hit" just cuz they have exhaust. little do they know i could smoke them at any second. oh well. let them be "above" all other scion owners. whatever i just wanna make new friends and meet cool new peeps. and what's up with tc owners driving like poopie? i've seen em swerving and driving crazy many many times.

I get a few waves in the box, I catch more in the SS truck.
The truck is rare around here where there's getting to be more boxes running around.
And the Lexus people??? Most are stuck up.

"I don't drink and drive cause I might spill my drink." -Tha Liks

One of the funniest rap verses ever!! I haven't ran into any loco tC drivers here in town. I see a lot of ice cream trucks...oops...xBs and they check out "the ride" and usually give me the "approval nod". Its all good!

A wave, a peace sign, a nod, or just smile back... no biggie, someone is acknowledging your good taste in cars. Scions in LA are everywhere, as the Don said, we would never look at the road if everyone waved, but I will tell you that everyone looks, I must admit, when I see a tC I will check the car out, xB too, the xA's are around but not as often. You are driving a car that is a total attention getter, more so than any of the others of Scion line.

You know it goes to say that a smile is contagious, the world of full of so much crap, if someone wants to wave to you bcus of your car, take it as a friendly gesture... better than getting the bird don't you think.

xB's are real common around here. I wave or nod at almost all the xB's I see. I am both semi old and ugly but most other owners wave back anyway. Sometimes I feel like a pervert waving at a car load of teens in a xB....so far no one has flipped me off. The whole waving thing is preety much just like it is out on the water in a boat. It's all about sharing a fun mutual experiance.

PS; going to my first Scion show/rally at Roseville Scion today if I can handle the expected 108 temp. They expect about 100 of the top modified Scions from N. Ca. Even my wife is excited!
