Interesting theory about a vehicle made for the American consumer not the foreign customer. So a more domestic kit would hit closer to what the designers intended.

The foreign customer gets the refined Rumion.

But hey every one gets an opinion in life. Keep the feedback coming especially about the front end.

I do agree that the vehicle is made for the US market, but it is still an import...anyways good luck with the kit...

Is s Ford or GM made in Canada or Mexico an import??

Just wondering what classifies things. How about Honda, Nissan or Toyotas made here in the US?

thanks for the well wishes though I hope the kit does well for Steve so he can develop more parts.

Boys...Boys no ____ing matches here please. Lets not ruin a very progressive and postive thread on a new product. Everyone has the right to their own opinion. My products will not and cannot appeal to everyone. I like to see both sides of the coin. I use the information to assist in making changes and making things more appealing to more people. Its ok now let it go.

I was not fighting just curious I value Jules' opinion remember I am in the backyard of the big three here in Detroit and they even thought JEEP was foreign after Daimler bought Chrysler

Check it out bada bing the front visor is DONE!!!! The rear spoiler has

the perfect side profile now and just has to be tweaked upward by a
touch along with the mid. We are almost there.

This is Dino from XCLUSIVE SCIONS, and when Jason showed me what was in store for his new '08, I told him I would drive him there if I had to.I think it is a great kit for this model type car, I just wish there was something for the GEN1s that appealed to me as well.

Also, the drawings that I saw also had another front grill to it, and not just the open T type that I see in the pics. Personally I like the other grill better, but that is me, I'm an old skool type of guy.

I know that Jason is waiting for his car to get, with great patience. I know if it ws me, I would be screaming inside my own head about the whole thing.

I love the kit, and if possible I will be going back with him to help get it, JUST so O can take a picture of his face when it is done. Great work.

Thank you. Phase one and two are just about done. Final touches are being added to the mid spoiler today and the skirts should also be done. The skirts will be sent back to me in proto form to create the side swept exhaust system. It is easy to go out the passenger side but more challenging to go out the drivers side. It may end up being a false one on that side who knows? For those not wanting the side exhaust option the skirts will come with a removable mesh. It will still look great and can be lit up with LEDS. It will take till Feb to complete the front and rear...there is some serious planning to be done with that as the grille will be metal and the front bumper urethane. There is also a hood to go with this as well.

In reagards to the front grill. Are you just going to have the one grill that is hown in the drawings on this thread, or will you be doing the other grill as well???? As I said before, I think I would prefer the other grill, due to the looks of an old 1930's car, with the grill rods verticle, and possibly with a lower lip extension at the bottom. Similar to a 1932 ford.

Always my luck to be late to the party...

I just wanted to say that I think you are doing a wonderful job with that kit. It takes what I believe was the intent of the vehicle's "persona" (1930-40's Era Gangster Wagon) and brings it into the 21st Century.

On the flip side, for a Sci-Fi Fan, it looks kinda like the face plate of a Cylon (new series cylon). But I think that just adds to the overall....oomph.

Keep moving forward. Your design shows a willingness to stay with the soul of the xb2 and to incorporate some much needed thinking outside the xB...er....box.

Madode

p.s. When you're done with that can you design and build a Sun Visor with a pull out extender so I can cover more than half my window? Color matched to the exterior body? (sorta kidding...)

The production grille will vary from this that is all I can say. The point of the exercise was to create the spoilers and skirts for production. The rest was pure concept to build a SEMA ride but I will push the whole thing through since response has been excellent.

Well since you ask...I cant make one like that for the outside but I already carry the retractable full windshield sun shade for the Gen 1 xB and can get the Gen 2 shade for you no problem. Should be around 39 bucks plus shipping maybe 8 bucks.
