Default 2005 Release 2.0 Sideview Signal lens cover

Hi all. First off, I'm new to the forums and just wanted to say thanks for such an informative site.

I have been a proud owner of a 2005 Release 2.0 XB since they were introduced and I love my car.

Recently, I had my right sideview signal lens cover chipped by an oncoming car when I had my Scion parked on a corner.

The light still works. It is just the plastic lens cover that needs to be replaced.

I went to a local dealership and they told me that the entire sideview assembly needs to be replaced and would cost about $300 dollars.

Was trying to see if maybe I could locate that part myself and save some money if at all possible.

Would anyone know where I can locate the part? Thanks in advance for taking time to consider my question.

xB 1st-Gen forum maybe

Not hating, but since you have a 1st-Gen, those owners might be able to point you in a better direction. Hope that helps, if just a little bit.
