On my way home at 9:30pm Tues night, my latch failed and the hood blew into the windshield at 55mph 😱💫💢 literally tearing the hinges apart at the pivots!




I'm looking at the hinge mounting bolts and wondering if the black plastic covers in the corners of the fenders can be removed to get access or if the fenders will have to be partially or completely removed. They were scarred by the broken hinges when I had remove the hood completely to get home.


Anyone have any experience with the fenders and upper covers or hinge replacements?
