Anyone else getting tired of their HIDs?

So my xb is at the dealer getting the water pump replaced and I was provided a 2009 Corolla S as a loaner until they get the part and install it. I was VERY impressed with the light output of the stock halogen low beams and fog lights while driving home Friday night.
Maybe my ballasts are dying because I swapped to 4300k bulbs and they just seemed very dim and more yellow than the lights on the rolla. I think I've decided to go back to halogen and order the oem fogs for the xB once I get it back. Im also going to swap the lows and fogs to h9 bulbs for even more light.
My intial idea was going to do a proper retro, but after several hours of research Ive decided against it. Even though we have halogen projectors, the headlight is way too complicated to do complete the project because of the lack of space.

Nope... I love my 6000K kit that I have on my xB. I had a problem with one of my ballasts and hated it when I had to put the stock lights back in while I was waiting for my new ballast. I will never go back to conventional bulbs again!!
But that is just my $.02

I love the output on a dark road. Of-course when you're surrounded by stock halogen cars on the road it kind of washes your HIDs away as I have 6000k + APTs with factory bulbs. But pit it up against one car with non-projector halogens with mine and I still lean towards my HID's as a preference.
The headlights on the Corolla were properly aimed, that's the kind of effect you get when headlights are properly aimed. Maybe if you readjust the aiming of your HIDs, you'll like it all over again? But if you do not have fog lights, that'll definitely make a big difference.
I know I'm tired of your HID's,
I'm also tired of people pretending they need them, especially in Toyotas, which are famed (as of late) for really ____ing bright headlights...
I mean, it must be really great to blind the ____ out of everyone on the road with your permanent high beams,
but I'm just not feeling it...
My stock units are more than adequate for the winding, lightless canyon road I live on.

Maybe your stock units are adequate, but the HIDs make it fun.

Ever run into a 07+ Cadillac Escalade with factory hids? HORRENDUS, every single one I've ever run in to it was glare central.
Anyone know where I can get the oem fogs cheap? This is the lowest price I've found so far. http://parts.donjacobsscion.com/prod...6970c62af98dcd

Its just i see so many glaring, cheap, unfocused and diffused HID headlights on the road, and they are all a PAINFUL nuisance... that make me worry about people passing stricter car modification laws. I think that is really where my anger is focused.
but, like I said. I LIVE IN A CANYON. and its pitch black there at night. and my highbeams are MUCH-MUCH-MUCH more than I need!
