Thumbs down Body / Lip Kits ( C'mon )

The companies that came out with the Gen1 body and lip kits need to get off their asses and design some for us... Seriously, I look around on the web and there are like four times the kits we have. Im very disappointed. The kits out for our boxes are very bland and very similar to me. I want something eye catching and defined with dual exhaust ports... Jus sayin...

do a rumion conversion then you have a lot more to choose from. Alot of the gen1 kits need to have bB front and rear conversions done also to use most of the body kits floating around... unless its a whole bumper instead of just a skirt or lip.

I just mixed and matched my kits

Same with spoilers. All that's available is the OEM, Rumion, AIT 'Duckbill", eBay OEM, and the xGangster.

I do like one of the Rumion lip kits but I dont like the Rumion itself.. Besides I dont have the excessive amount of money required to do a conversion.

Is this the one you're talking about? If so, it's JDM only and not available in the U.S. that I know of. It's actually the only one I've seen that I like. This picture was posted in one of the threads on SL a very long time ago by Marshall (eight08customs). He might be the only person who could help locate it.

Haha! I know who makes it. It's 39,900 yen plus shipping and brokerage.

What about this one:

Carbon fiber version of the one CIONIDE posted.

why would a company invest money to design aftermarket parts when the majority of xb2s are owned by old people and will stay stock? Truth hurts, but the xb2 isn't a big hit with the younger crowd who would mod it which = no $$$

I see more older people driving Gen1's actually. My Scikotics chapters xB2 owners are generally around my age which is 26. Companies have invested money already and judging by the forums Id say a lot of Gen2's are gettin modded. I just want a little diversity when it comes to the stuff cuz it seems like they all basically had the same ideas with little differences. Id say theres no truth to that statement so Im not hurt.

honestly i have had a lot of ideas for my xB but with the lack of money being made and more money being put into bills and stuff its kinda hard. The original idea I had was designing it to look like war machine but as of right now its just all dreams.

There was an article i read awhile back about Toyota stating exactly what I said, older folks, who were not their age target were buying the xb2 over the Rav4 and equivalent because of the very reasonable price of the xb2.

I doubt the aftermarket will get bigger for us, it'll be 4 years next month the xb2 hit the dealer lots.

Well, I hope more comes out. I think more products for the first gens came out later on down the road. Maybe since the 11's are out more products will become available. The only kit I like right now is the AIT lip kit, but its not dual exhaust and its already pricey so I wouldnt wanna have to modify it...

I just want a nice, subtle 2-3" duckbill spoiler.

What I've wanted is a nice small carbon fiber front lip...nothing too big and too flashy...like these...
