Body Side Molding
Maybe you can install door molding in a different color than the body to break things up.
This thread is starting to look like waffle city to me -- no add-on guard is going to be especially attractive (IMO), if the developer succeeds in accomplishing that next to impossible task, then you had better believe it won't be even remotely cheap. Any chance of coming down to earth on this?
PS -- Thanks to zetaproducts for both a decent looking product entry and restraint in reviewing a pie-in-the-sky thread
For some reason, you chose to skip the meat-and-potatoes paragraph and dwell on the follow up second. In dwelling on the second, you also skipped the meat-and-potatoes sentence (in bold below).
Your rebuttal examples don't work since they are examples of people either wanting something specific or offering ideas, whereas you offer no ideas, you just want "something"! Here is the meat-and-potatoes paragraph again.
Come up with some ideas and you are more likely to get somewhere. In any case -- it's really nothing to do with me, so good luck with it

Good grief, consider what the function is dude! If you can't imagine a more desirable appearance, then how realistic is it to expect the door guard developer to do so? The guards shown are pretty decent looking in my opinion (given the decision to include guards). If what you want are guards that look like something else, how realistic a request are you seriously making?
.
No problem!
Personally, I'd love to install a genuine bumper guard of some sort across my doors (already been nailed once
), but I'm darned if I know what would genuinely look good on the car :?! I guess it ultimately comes down to a trade-off in appearance Vs. function.
Still, I really don't think those Zetraproducts bumper strips look bad at all. One could do something a little inventive with them like have three, one above the other, each starting further back than the one above -- perhaps even extending the topmost to the front fender.
Oh well, just thoughts
