bodykit question
for example the five axis kit, how much lower than the factory front bumper and side skirts does it sit.
if anyone else has a different kit how much lower does your sit than factory.

yeah with any kit i would recommend stock height or air ride. because if you are siting lowered on a static suspension set up. chances are your going to mess it up. and after spending all the time and money to have it painted and installed i cant imagine that would feel very good.
thats why im waiting to get my kit until im on air. which could be a couple years for this poor full time college student

I'm highly considering the 5Axis kit. I need to get lower.
I looked closely at my buddy's and from the pinch weld to the kit, it's roughly 2" lower. So it's about 2" lower than the pinch weld, where the pinch weld is the highest (i.e. the middle of the car).
He's been running his car with the 5Axis kit on DF210s and has scraped a parking stop once. You just have to keep an eye on stuff.
If I get one, I'm planning on getting the bottom of it all colormatched Line-X.

I've talked to Young Tea at FIVE:aD repeatedly (about a lack of of an updated '11-'12 kit ) and he maintains that his personal white xB still pictured on the FIVE:aD website is running only TRD springs, 19" S5:F wheels and he has no significant everyday driver/clearnace issues.
Problem appears to be that Matt Teske (877-464-3130) has his head so far up the new pending FR-S project that he forgot who made him profitable.
Feel free to call him and let him know what you the paying consumer wants to buy...

The FIVE:aD + TRD set-up reference was to afford a relatable (to your set-up height vs TRD) answer to original question as to lip kit drop.
Then it's you're call as to where you want to be in the gamut of possible (daily) operating heights. In this thread I've already read stock spring height to way-too-bagged to run this kit.
I too would love to look like some your mo' lowa rides but my circumstances nix said.
Obviously masterbB's buddy hit something hard and tall, else believed this kit's aerodynamics would afford flight...

the cracked front lip was for sure his fault, the rims no so much. i love there rims but have two friends who have both either bent or cracked rims, they had 19s and 20s. unless you have some custom work done, you can fit the kit. I've see randy's air setup with the five axis kit, and marshal runs it with the airrex kit.

Sorry, but I believe that if you bend/damage rims, it's either on you or the wheel/rim quality (not the body kit that actually shields them)...
