Look at the KSport xB. I think it's siiiiiick and a spoiler would absolutely 100% ruin it.

That's my vote, and I'm sticking by it. If you want to see a whole CF package that looks good, check out NoLimitz' xB. IMHO, I think even the whole CF package really only looks good on SW or CSM, but that's obviously just my opinion FWIW.
I like the look of the spoiler, it helps to break up the square back end.
The choice of cf depends on the desired appearance of your car. What are you wanting to do with your car?
Why are you considering carbon fiber?
The lighter the car the better the gas mileage...however, in the case of the xb, the sheet metal is so thin, I don't how much of a difference it would make.
I've liked the look of cf since a bought a cf frame road bike in '91. But cf has become popular and a lot of it looks alike.
IMO you could do a CF spoiler and hood without the hatch, have some charcoal grey or black rims (to match the darker color in cf), and maybe some of the cf window trim. If you have just the spoiler, probably would not look right. What color wheels are you looking at, or are you sticking with steelies? A cf spoiler alone will look out of place because it is on the extreme edge of the vehicle (plus it won't make sense if it the only cf piece), so somehow you tie it in so it doesn't look like it is standing alone (thus using a hatch). I've wondered what how a cf spoiler would look painted the body color on top, and cf underneath.
The cf hatch has never looked right for me. It just seems to divide the back end of the xb. Now maybe if there was a cf roof overlay, would be a pretty nice two-tone effect.
Be creative and photoshop or find someone to photoshop some different looks for you. Of course, all this is on the assumption you are considering exterior mods on your car. If not, then disregard any of the discussion of hoods and hacthes....
(high octane java this morning).
Worse case, buy the OEM spoiler. If you decide on cf later on, you can sell your spoiler.

CF is only functional for light weight on race cars; otherwise it's just for looks.

Thanks for the input.. ever since I asked my mom her opinion on CF or factory OEM color she wont stop telling me OEM lol! I think I may go with the OEM spoiler for now then may upgrade later down the road, but I am comtemplating CF hood now.... hhhmmm
Here is the link for the Seibon hoods NoLimitz carries.

I say you go for a cf hatch with color matched garnish + no wing. I would skip trying to cf the whole thing and just get some really nice wheels with a proper stance and you should be good to go...

I think the back of the xB looks boring with out something back there. Whether it be the OEM or CF it makes it look finished back there. I have a OEM CSM wing here at the shop if you want to have it painted.

Everytime I seriously look at the back of my box, I want a wing.
