I have a 14 xb, it just turned 3600 miles today. We bought it in April, and havent really had it in cold weather. So driving back from a wedding tonight, it was 29 degrees, and the windshield was super creaky. Ive NEVER heard this before. is it just something that comes with the cars? Something that needs to be checked, any info would be greatly appreciated.

 

Yea that is normal. A lot of people on here have complained of hearing a creaking from the windshield, usually in the lower right corner on the passenger side. Some people have said that its the plastic tray thing in front of the windshield rubbing up against it but I have taken that off before to test and I still heard the noise so in my case its the windshield creaking. I have a 2012 so I am surprised they haven't finally fixed this yet since I have reading people with 08's complaining of the noise.
