Default fake air ducts

Painting my billet grill glossy black is already in the process and will be done on the 27th. My question is should I get the fake air ducts professionally painted or should I just use some spray paint from a hobby store. I would appreciate some feedback and concerns.

My thoughts are that the vents are very low and will take a beating on the road. If you do them yourself, it'll be much cheaper to redo them in the future when they start looking rough. The flip side to that is professional paint is much more durable so it should last longer. However, pro paint is very costly compared to DIY.

If I were in your shoes, I'd paint them myself and save the $$$ for other mods.
