WOW 300+ Dame sorry dude. I have it on all my cars for years. I don't get bothered but when I do they cant ticket me anyway. Do to the fact that my Mother has Lupus and I have a letter from the Doctor's and the DMV and NY State. She cant have a lot of sun beating down on her it burn her skin pretty bad.

Looks really good! Its lucky that you can legally use the tint. I once got a freaking ticket on Queens Blvd because my rear tint was too dark (and it wasn't). Freaking cars passing by us had darker tints...

So Sorry to hear that about your mom, dont take this the wrong way but "lucky....."
In ca, you can have all the rear windows black, painted even, but the front driver and passenger windows and windshield are illegal to tint. I used to run 85% in the rear and 25% in the fronts, thinking "well, you can still see in the front of the vehicle" but i got loads of tix.. this is actually my first car ever in my life that i have not tinted up front.. I constantly feel the sun burning my skin and it sucks but i can't afford to give money to the gov for another tint tix!!
Granted my mother in law has had her lumina tinted black all around for years and has never gotten pulled over.... but the minute i do it, i'll get rolled! + i am sure my box screems "teenager" to the fuzz.. the fact that my sister in laws are both sherrifs don't help either.... where is my get out of a tint ticket free card!!!!

You're supposed to carry the family "Get out of jail free" card in your wallet , but it only extends to immediate family members of the officer that originally receives it.

You've got to be part of "La Familia" to get the respect, but yea, if you put your life on the line, then your family gets a little bit of a freebee. Believe me, they deserve it, and if you're not a cop, you and your family don't. (No offense, just a reality.)

This is also similar to the "11-99" member license plate frames. To get one, my understanding is that you have to donate $15k to the 11-99 foundation for downed officer's family's.. It's a great cause, and the "get out of jail free" aspect should not be the motivation, but most Scion owners are not in a position to participate. That is why you usually see them on AMG Mercedes and the such.

P.S. Sorry for the thread jack, just responding to others.
