Default Gen 2 HeadlightsUpdate with link

Ok, I got the new lights in the mail today. Here is a couple quick pics of the lights. So far they seem to have good quality. Each halo has its own ballast/resistor pack. So that is good. The projector bulb is a H7 and then low beam is a H1 bulb. I have not put these in yet as I will do it this weekend. I want to make sure I have time to mess with them and not been in a rush. Here is a couple pics of the halos lit up. and the rest of the lights.

Here is the link to buy them.

looks cool but im not down with the cathodes in the headlight. i think that there is too much heat and ive seen waayy too many transformers/ballasts go out cause they are not nearly weather proofed enough..

good luck with this man i think this will flow with your car very well

wow that kinda sux! no limtiz should definatly try that out now that u got them.

the only thing i would be worried about is goin from an OEM projector with perfect cutoff to aftermarket with iffy cutoff. definatly would awesome to work on a retrofit or even jus fix the cutoff

i really like the look of this design, i love the fact that the halos have such an excellent glow to them just like the bmws. I had halos on my first gen and I was happy with them, i think this is even the same company who made the old ones, but these look even better. I cant wait to hear the results . . .

I am going to mess with them this weekend. I need to get HID bulbs that are the H7. I will get them this week to see if they will work or not. I do not see why the HID would not work. The halo part of it looks awesome. I guess living in a dry state I do not have to worry to much about the transformers/ballasts issue. I will keep you guys posted.

x_X

I hate you J... That's one of my favorite cars. If/when I get my seats redone, I'll get the diamond tuck, but have the diamonds lengthwise... :D

H1 bulbs just plain suck with light output (I know from personal experience). Why wouldn't they just use an h11 bulb like the stock ones??

so that the manufacturer can use the same projector among many headlights. it is cheaper to get a H1 projector and pair with adapters than it is to manufacture different projectors with different bases.
