Angry Got Jacked....

So on Tuesday I ordered some puddles lights from LED mod and guess what...

yup someone decided they needed the dam lights more than I did...the usps guy dropped it off at my doorstep and when I got home they were gone which in 5yrs of me living here that has never happened...I was expecting them to be here today according to last usps visit I did so when I got home today I did not see them...track them again and it shows delivered at 11:58am on Friday the 12th....what sucks even more that I got home at 1pm on Friday and there was nothing there....called the usps and asked to see if it was dropped they called me @ 5pm today to say that yes the carrier dropped it off at our door step....great now I am out of the money i spent and out on lights....I hope that who ever took em does a crap shoot of a job and fries their whole wiring system or two that I get to see the car with them on since no one person in this area has them let alone a decently modded car (that is not a fart can honda)

ok just had to vent!!

Contact LED-Mod. Maybe they can give you some kind of discount? Like 5% or something.

Sorry to hear about that! I hope the one stolen from you is defective!

no insurance? I would still fight them on leaving a package at your door. The driver makes the call on leaving a package at any location so USPS has insurance for this reason on their drivers...

Check with your neighbors, I've had UPS leave stuff at the wrong house before.

QFT, happened to me with FedEx a few weeks ago, my neighbor was kind enough to knock on my door and give it to me.

1. The shipper should have insured the product

2. If the shipper refuses to refund you or immediately send you replacement product. . You need to put in a claim with your charge card + as the shipper cannot provide proof of delivery signature from USPS or you. But, you must put in your claim to your charge card immediately for your protection. You can always tell your charge card co. to cancel your claim after you receive your replacement product if sent immediately.

The shipper will need provide USPS proof of delivery signature also to your credit card investigation dept or they will automatically credit your account for there is no proof.

Good Luck,

usually if i get packages, i have them sent to my work place so you know you're gonna get it, and it'll be safely held for you.... just some food for thought for future packages

My experience is vendors frequently only insure a shipment if you pay additional for it (this will be indicated during checkout). If you don't, then don't expect insurance to cover it and don't expect the vendor to cover it either (this will be indicated in the "Terms and Conditions" disclosure). There's generally a risk associated with ordering things and it's the buyer's responsibility to make themselves aware of exactly what the risks are.

I know when i ordered mine from them they charged me $15 to ship them and they threw them in a one of those $4 priced boxes. Then it came to tampa and it said there was not enough postage because they put the wrong shipping label on it then it went back to Vegas to get re shipped to me. When i asked them about the box when i got it why i was charged $15 for shipping they gave me some excuse about that being the price for shipping a little box.

we've had ups/fedex drivers who signed off on delivery and sweared that someone received it/left at door and later on its found on the trunk at the end of the day. i wouldn't buy the SOMEONE STOLE IT excuse unless its happened before....
