You should get some custom paint on there, something like graffiti art, bring out the urban-esque of the xB.

OTOH, slap on a big vinyl print out of Kim Kardashian.

The whole rusting thing seems like something you love for a week then get sick of or maybe thats just me lol. some nice graffiti would be pretty killer.

Leave the rust to the real rat rod guys, it's only cool when it's truly original and not faked - don't be a wannabe.

I say play with graffiti. Since you have two hoods, you can change up the graffiti any time you want.

Actually, quick little story... I do believe Origin teamed up with Gloss Factory in Japan and made some hoods... I have pictures, but they're NSFW.
I'd loooooooove to do something like that, and I absolutely 110% would. But, I live in Utah. I'm sure someone would come in contact with my car and I'd end up going to jail... No get out of jail free card, do not pass 'GO', and obviously do not collect $200.

Try to design some clean vents that will allow hot air to escape the engine bay... and also maybe a way to keep water from coming in.

 

You should try to do like the VW guys and make a boser(sp) hood if you go on VWVortex.com you can see them i think that would be kinda bad ___.

 

Boser style would be pretty bad a$$... However, I'm not sure how hot it would look because out headlights go into the fenders. Therefore, I'd have to give the fender the little eyelid, too. Which would be a PITA.

Vents are entirely possible, but not my style. At all. I have a more 'less is more' mentality. I'd fab up some functional scoops if I had a car that was fast. But alas, it is not. Nor will it be. It's my scraper!!!

I'm thinking I may do the Kardashian graphic on the white hood now because it's removable if I feel like it. I just have to find a decent image I like in high resolution. If anyone has one, send it to me!!!

I think I'm going to go with the graff idea...

 

If you are thinking about vinyl...why not do something that somewhat matches you gauges? If I remember correctly yours is along the lines of suicide girls?
