The blue film you are looking at will not effect your light output at night. It looks really good on the Blackberry crush too. The smoke film depending on how dark you go no matter what will change the output of light to LESS. We had experimented with the light 10% Film that other companies offer and was happy with the tint shade, but not the over look of them. So you are left with the Smoked 20% film. One plus with that is the film is 20 mil thick so it will stop rocks from breaking and/or pitting the headlight lense just like the blue film. Plus it will last a lot longer than the thinner product.

Hope that helps you out a bit. I will try and see if I can find a pic of the blackberry with blue film installed too.

I have my lighter 3/10 tint pictured above. I also have a darker 6/10 tint which is about 20% tint, yellow and ice blue .

Two different companies.

We carry the same products that Blue Bat does as well as our original films.

We will just say Bats stuff for simplicity - 7 mil transparent vinyl film. Works great on flatter surfaces and has lighter tints available. This smoked tint is 10% and 15% smoked in our scenario.

RockBlocker - 20 mil high impact resistant pvc vinyl. Will work on more lights and easier to install when flex and stretch is necessary. Available in Smoked 20% for headlights.

I vote for smoked. Bluew or yellow too much of a contrast. Smoke would blend in better. Front would be completely dark.

It will come out similar to hyper blue:

Unless you are going clear, any overlay will affect light output depending on tint and color. On the blue not much decrease in light output other than making it appear blue . Email me to order.
