so i plan on gettin the factory fog lights. and mobile hid are on sale. i wanted to put them into the fogs. should i or should i not?

might ____ some people off, I know I used to have HID's then switched over to jdm yellow, cause I was sick of getting pulled over, now it kinda irritates me when I get blinded by aftermarket HIDs, but if you can get away with em go for it

 

DO IT! I have been running HID for @ least a year and a half now never a problem. 10,000k headlights 3,000k fogs people stoped high beaming me like they di with the stock bulbs.

 

Usually, adding an HID kit has everything to do with the cutoff of the projector. If there's no projector and cutoff, the HID will just end up blinding everybody. That being said, I added an HID kit to the low beams yesterday, and while doing some testing, I noticed the stock fog lights had a pretty low cutoff too, even though they are not projector. I'm going to recheck the stock fog's cutoff pattern, and if it's enough to not blind people, I might just buy a 3000K HID kit for them too.... I'll let you know how it goes....

what ever you do dont buy your hids from ebay the seller urcarparts shows the same kits cliff sells the xenon but he ships out a much cheeper kit . but ebay keeps letting him sell what a joke its all about ebays making money not at all about being fair .
i got a set from cilf and my friend got a kit from this joker on ebay 2 different set ups .

I just ordered some 3000Ks from Cliff for my fogs, but does anyone got any bright ideas how to install them on stock fogs? I dealer installed my fogs, so does anyone know how to replace the bulbs? Do I have to take off the bumper?

Im getting 4300Ks... and my fogs are just going to sit normal.. ugh.. too bad.. :T
