Question Hood adjustment???

Hey everyone. So i had to replace my hood and hood hinges. But now the hood won't latch down. I noticed that the back of the hood doesn't line up flush with the edges of the corners. So seems like the hood is forward a little. But the bolts to everything seem like they have a taper on them. Making them "self center" in the holes. Is this true? Or can i actually adjust the hood somehow? Thanks.

I would loosen the bolts just slightly & then close. Adjust any of the gap clearances.

Then, re-open the hood & being very careful not to kick it out align, then fully tighten

If I remember correctly there is a little play in the bolts for adjusting. I had to play with mine a couple times when I put the carbon hood on. But it's been awhile since got rid of the hood hinges so I could be wrong.
