Default How difficult is it to repalce a front passenger fender?

I need to replace the passenger side fender on my 2008 Scion. Is this a difficult project?

I see quite a few dealers selling these on ebay for ~$250 - some are even painted.

I went to a few body shops and they are quoting anywhere from $750 to 1000 and need the car for 4 to 5 days to complete the job. I really can not go without a car for a week. I hate to turn this into my insurance company because the price of this repair would just cover my deductible.

example seller:

Actually not hard at all. You'll need to pull the bumper, headlight, and wheel well liner to get access to all the bolts. From there it's just unbolt, put the new one in and line everything up as to bolt it in place.
