i'd save my money and just get some regular led bulbs for those. I don't see the point in buying and installing a whole new kit when you'll probably be out of reverse by the time the bulb warms up

I have an extra set of HID ballast, im gonna give it a shot and see what i can come up with.

that is a demo vid from marcemarcxB08 he posted a relay diagram. i am gunna try this with a retarded ballast i have. it turns on only when it wants to so hopefully it turns on when i go in reverse...

I have a H3 HID bulb in 3000k golden yellow if anyone wants it.

I don't know if it will fit or not though.

It has standard AWP connections to work with most ballasts/ignitors.

i just bought a spare reverse light assembly to hack up i think i am going to try to use the original bulb socket and cut out the insides and see if i can get a HID bulb into the hole. that way i use the original socket and it goes into the reverse light like it was made for it. also, no need to remove the entire assembly just to swap out bulbs

hey marcemarcxB08 where did you source the 12V for the relay?

I did not even know about the HID in the reverse till i saw the Video i was like Dame!!!! Thats Sweet

dont cut out the insides ...i tried that but the bulb gets too close to the socket and will melt it right away.....i retrofit an h13 bulb into the stock housing ....

im from staten island so you really aint that far from me..

Yea man Def not too far at all.

This Sunday is gonna be a Scion Meet over at the Scion Dealer near my house on Suday Food Music, Prize's ect, And there is also gonna be a NJ Meet next month. Def gotta meet up some time show mw that Retro Fit. Any Meet's in SI?

i dont go to the meets here in SI my dealership i work for has a a scion show every time a new scion is released i think the next one is in july for the release series TC..

just take it apart in the rear and test for a 12 volt line....if my memory serves me correct i believe it was red...in a harness in the rear...
