Anyone painted theirs body color? Or even graphite? Was thinking of doing something a little different. I think they'd look awesome in Super White.

Any opinions?

 

I did mine in candy purple, have seen others in candy blue, green, graphite, black, and pink. Haven't seen white yet, might looks too close to the stock chrome though. I say go for it if you want to.

I suggested this to a SL member on here with a super clean white xb2 months ago, but he didn't want to. I'd love to see it done on a white xb2.

 

I'd be all for it if I just had somewhere to paint now. Used to have a balcony and the place I live doesnt now.

 

I thought that the white headlights that Vertex did was a bit much white. Just didn't offset to me.

If anyone is going to bake their headlights and want to up their lighting game, The Retrofit Source has a bolt in kit for the Morimoto H1 bi-xenon projectors.

I wish I would have known that before I hacked up a pair of OEM headlights for my S2000 retrofit...

edit: the projector kit. I'm not sold on the white headlight mod lol

 

The projector swap would look just like any of the other vehicles with the swap. LightWerkz has some pics up on their blog of the output and high beam.

 

I did the exterior of mine. I used Plasticoat. it's a rubberized spray on coating. Helps with rock chips too. If I get tired of it? it peels right off.
