Thanks I'm happy with them! Lol I just had to play around installing them to minimize the gap in the front. It all depended on where I placed 'em

Haven't taken it on the highway but it's still loud IMO, same with the visors on our suburban and those are perfeclyt fitted. I think it's just me, I never really notice a difference at all.

Going to buy some 3m tape soon For the gap, haven't had time to go to autozone

ya'know, i have the same SE knock off vent visors and i can honestly say that this particular gap is pretty substantial. i don't know if 3m double sided tape would do the job. And if so, I don't think it'll look that good. I personally don't mind the gap. I haven't noticed any particularly annoying noise. Aesthetically, I don't think it looks bad. But that's just me

we didnt tape it, i highly recommend doing so because over time the air under the visor pushes it out and it starts to pull the visor off.

not always the case, i been running the same SE visors for 3 years with the same 3m tape it came with out the box. its more than enough to hold it down even with that gap and the vegas weather. still looks brand new

The waay I put mine on I had the visor hanging over the door. The contact of the tape onto the door was half of the size of the tape. I did it so it would fit. I am planning in redoing the tape sooner or later.
And your in Vegas? Are you part of
the las Vegas scikotics?

I got these too, the gap is annoying but you get what you pay for, I think they are a pretty good look even if i put them on slightly uneven ;)

i got these for my 08 and ran them for 2.5 years with no problem. my original pair came with weatherstripping on the gap area and really helped fill the gap. i bought these for my 11 and that gap now bothers me...might pull em off and get the AVS seamless.

Really wish I could see a picture of these with the gap filled with two layers of 3M tape or weatherstripping.

Do it! I just want to see a picture of it to see if it closes the gap or not. If it does, I'll be buying a set immediately.

I honestly haven't even noticed road noise with these on - nothing that's a deal breaker anyways.

I have some extra 3M tape laying around but I'm not sure if the gap can be fixed, you need to add quite a bit of pressure to have it sit flush and it honestly may not work out IMO

If it's that big of a deal, why not tape the front side (as a barrier to shape) and fill with RTV silicone? If you're running the A pillar black-out, use black, no black-out, use clear. It's waterproof and easy to remove if you want.
